Mai Manó Gallery ("Kis Manó")

Every year, the most successful participant of Fotóporta, an international portfolio review jointly organized by Association of Hungarian Photographers, Studio of Young Photographers and Hungarian House of Photography in Mai Manó House, wins the opportunity to present their work in Mai Manó Gallery. In 2012, Géza Hernád stages his exhibit Holtidény / Off Season. The series of the same title takes an off-season look at places that are popular and crowded in the summer. The true face of these scenes, which spend two thirds of the year in a slumber, remains hidden from the seasonal visitor.
