The Hungarian House of Photography, in other words the Mai Manó House has come out with an unusual exhibition. On the exhibition
titled “Doglife”, visitors can see pictures of dogs alone with their owners from the middle of the 1800th century until the present.
The exhibition collects several types of photos: from pictures taken in artist studios to contemporary art photography.
Besides the original cabinet pictures as well as visitor cards made in the end of the 1800th there are enlarged digital prints as
well, in order to give more information for the visitors about the minor details too.
(As it was at our very popular Adler exhibition too.) Some of the photographers participating our exhibition: Aladár Székely,
Ferenc Knebel, József Borsos, Imre Benkő, György Stalter, Katalin Baricz, Katalin Tamás, Lenke Szilágyi, Éva Velledits, Demeter Balla.
We selected the pictures from the collection of Historical Photo collection of Hungarian National Museum, Hungarian Museum of
Photography, Litofánia Ltd and photos of Széchenyi family.
