Gábor Arion KUDÁSZ
b. 1978, Budapest

Green Area

The photographs of Gábor Arion Kudász are imprints of seemingly intact nature intertwining with nature formed and modified by mankind. The photographer explores how “civilisation” and “organisation” penetrate everything that seems disorganised and insubordinate. The series records parks of the capital, as well as forests lining it: frontiers between inhabited and uninhabited areas. The explicit phenomena of an unyielding and unrestrained capitalist order crop up from beneath the surface of harmony and tranquillity.

Kudász made his series Green Area in 2005, supported by the Budapest Photography Grant.
